I've almost finished an entry on Alessi's Ark but I am very upset because the books I am reading at the library continue to be checked out from under my nose. Books that hadn't previously been checked out for the past 7 years all of a sudden disappear when I take an interest and get through the first 260 pages. What kind of social misfit checks out a book on "the teapot dome scandal'? I am halfway through a book on the Muslim experience in Andalusia, I expect it will be gone when next I look for it. I may be forced to get a "library" card.
